Portugal can be the entry point to many other countries and also to the Portuguese islands (Azores and Madeira).
When pets arrive on international flights, the first entry point must be Lisbon Airport or Porto Airport. From these locations, we can arrange to send the animals to other Portuguese airports, including the Portuguese islands (Madeira and Azores).
Typically, your pet will be in the care of the Global Pets team for one night to rest and recover before their next flight the following day.
The Global Pets team also specializes in the entire export process to Australia and New Zealand.
We handle pets coming from various countries, such as Brazil, Venezuela, Morocco, Ukraine, among others (countries with active rabies cases are not permitted to export directly to some destinations).
We provide accommodation for as long as necessary to complete the export process, including all veterinary and documentation services, along with plenty of care while they are away from their owners.
The transit process is always monitored by the specialized Global Pets team, who will remain in constant contact with the owners and provide regular updates about their pet.
